A proud parent of a daughter and a son, Gina is a native of Opelousas, but has lived in Baton Rouge since 1993. In the late 80s, she worked at Kinko's Copies while putting herself through college and earning a BA in Graphic Design in 1988 from Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge. She married in early 1989 and moved to Louisville, Kentucky where she spent the next 4 years working for The Cobb Group, Inc. producing technical journals on computers about computers and software. There, she was presented with two awards of achievements. In the fall of 1993, moved back to Baton Rouge, and formed MACnSLEDGE Design Services offering desktop publishing and graphic design services. Clients have included The Cobb Group (Ziff-Davis), The Family Resource Group (Baton Rouge Parents Magazine & Baton Rouge Baby), Ochsner Clinic Foundation–Baton Rouge, Junior League of Baton Rouge and The Volunteers of America with the last three being donation of services. In 1999, Gina as Art Director helped launch South Louisiana Family Magazine. She designed and produced this magazine from cover to cover, including a majority of ads. Her recent works include: Designing/Maintaining websites; creating sculptures made from glass, metal, and ceramic; acting photographer for Pack 228 Cub Scouts and other various clients; Creating ARTography from photographs. In 2007, one of Gina's photos was printed on the Sophie B. Hawkins' Bad Kitty Mix Live album. Memberships have included LSU’s Graphic Design Student Association (1985 to 1988) as Secretary in her senior year, Ochsner Clinic of Baton Rouge Hospitality Club since 1993, an advocate of Volunteers of America since 2000, lifetime member of the Girl Scouts – Audubon Council since 2006—troop 566 co-leader since 2000. Gina is an advocate for volunteering time and giving back to her community, along with being active in protecting nature and the environment.

Co-Owner/Operator. Glass Metal Sculptures. Gaia (mythology), a Greek and Roman goddess, also known as the Mother Earth. A majority of these art pieces were made with materials found on the edges of the Mississippi River. Responsibilities were Artist, Graphic Designer, Photographer and acting fiduciary of the LLC.
